The Resource Directory within Show The Way provides two distinct benefits to communities; one for the outreach workers providing direct services, and one for people experiencing homelessness.
Outreach providers are often the people with the most up-to-date information on local resources, support, and shelter availability. But no one can stay on top of the changing resources and available assets everywhere, all the time. The internal Resource Directory shows providers using the app where to find the closest services and support their clients need.
The Public Resource Directory is very similar – except no login is needed in order to access it. If a community that uses Show The Way enables the public portal, anyone in that community can download the app and find accessible resources near them.
